Sindhu Raju

Student Assistant, UW

Sindhu is a Student Assistant for the Life Cycle Lab at the University of Washington, currently pursuing a Master of Architecture from the School of Built Environment at UW, with a specialization in Sustainable Design. Her professional background includes 3.5 years of architectural work experience in India, which has made her develop an interest in materials. This interest has led her to undertake research on Engineered Living Materials as a part of her final year Research Studio at the University of Washington, to explore innovative and low-carbon solutions for the construction industry. Her goal is to practice architecture with a strong emphasis on ecology and material reuse, aiming to integrate environmentally responsible principles into her future work.
