In 2019, CLF published the\u00a0Embodied Carbon Baselines<\/em>\u00a0report that provided \u201cinformed estimates of the range of embodied carbon within a material category.\u201d Today, we publish the\u00a02025 CLF North American Material Baselines Report<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 the fourth major edition in this series that builds upon earlier versions while maintaining the same essential goal from 2019.A resource for policymakers, agency staff, project teams, researchers, tool developers, and others, this report provides:<\/p>\n To drive action built on informed comparisons, the baselines serve as a basis of comparison for evaluating individual products in low-carbon procurement policies, green building rating systems, and project specifications.
